I know it’s hazy outside for weeks now, but I still remember the first time introducing Miles to the outdoors. Took him awhile to get used to the idea of it but now that he’s 20 months, he loves playing in the outdoors. The only problem is that the heat and sweat sometimes trigger his eczema, causing his skin to be red and itchy. I’ve always thought that I had to keep his skin dry to avoid irritations. On the contrary after consulting a Paeds Derm, it’s important to keep his skin moisturized. I can’t deprive Miles of the outdoors, but still need to keep his skin healthy and moisturized, so I use Aveeno Baby Dermexa on him, which contains prebiotic triple oat formula and ceramides to lock in the moisture for 24 hours so that he feels comfortable all day long.
